|Weekly training runs|
Tuesday and Thursday evenings :
From the club house starting at 6.10pm. The club house is open afterwards for showers and refreshments. There are various groups including a walking group, a “plodder” group (beginners and those coming back from injury or a long lay off) and a quicker group (usually runners training for longer distance races). The duration of the run is approximately 1 hour, sometimes longer.
Weekly morning runs—early group:
From Fish Hoek beach every week day at 5.00am. This is a quicker group. Be warned! Currently they are doing about 8-10km a day. More information to follow.
Weekly morning runs—later group:
From Fish Hoek beach every week day at 5.45am. The distance is between 7 and 9km depending on the route. Newcomers welcome. For more info contact Jim Scott at 021-782 9664 or 083-4180394.
Weekly morning runs—Kommetjie group:
Affectionately known as the KAK club. These runs start at the Mac’s house in Riverside Road, Kommetjie. I have no idea what time or what days, all I know is that it is early in the morning. Saturday morning runs—Andy’s group:
Andy’s group run from Fish Hoek beach most Saturday mornings. This is an easy paced run regrouping from time to time. All runs start at 6.00am unless otherwise stated. Click here for Schedule of runs.
