RUGBY: SA vs Scotland: The club will be open tomorrow from 4.00pm for the rugby. We will NOT BE lighting the fires as there is a function at the club later. The club will also open for the remaining UK fixture. SA vs England on 22 Nov. Braai fires will be lit. ********************************************************************* CAPESTORM Timetrial Incentive: You stand a chance of winning a Capestorm Puffadder top once a month simply by participating in timetrials during the month. The more times you participate, the better your chance of winning. We will do a lucky draw on the last Wednesday of the month. We will first draw the timetrial sheet (which could be any of the 4 weeks involved), and then we will draw a ‘finish’ position. You will need to be at the club on that evening to win. So as you can see, you stand a much better chance of winning if your name is on each of the timetrial sheets. The idea of this incentive is to get more folk down to the club to participate in timetrials on a Wednesday evening. ********************************************************************* FHAC Race Meeting: Thank you to those who attended the meeting last night. I am pleased to report that we are on track. To see where we are with our preparations, go to the Pre-preparations page. ********************************************************************* FHAC Membership and 2009 WPA Licences: It’s that time again. Your FHAC membership is up for renewal. WPA 2009 licences will be available at the FHAC from Wednesday 3 December 2008. Membership fees for 2009 are as follows: Family Membership: R250 (includes you, your significant other and your offspring (u/18) or dependent student (18+) all living at home) Single Membership: R200 (if it’s just you) These membership fees do not include your WPA licence. Licence fees for 2009 are as follows: Senior licence: R65 Junior licence: R25 (junior must provide a copy of his/her ID/birth certificate which we need to produce at WPA in order to be issued with the licence). Please note: 1) You cannot buy a WPA licence from us without first renewing/joining the FHAC. 2) In terms of the FHAC constitution, you are required to run in club colours if you are a member of the FHAC. ********************************************************************* Two Oceans/Comrades 2009: Are you planning on running Oceans and/or Comrades next year?
